Global Director of Procurement

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans and sourcing strategies aligned with Skechers business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Lead and manage procurement team members including buyers specialists and analysts while providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
• Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives supplier evaluations contract negotiations and vendor management across assigned procurement categories.
• Drive cost optimization programs and procurement savings targets while maintaining quality standards and supplier performance.
• Establish and maintain procurement policies procedures and compliance standards ensuring adherence to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including finance legal operations and business units to support procurement initiatives and provide category expertise.
• Implement procurement technology solutions data analytics and KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous process improvements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• 7-10 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing and cost reduction programs.

• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience with proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in financial analysis and budget management.

• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency with procurement systems technology platforms and data analytics tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

• Professional certifications (CPSM CPPO APICS PMP) and experience with supplier diversity programs preferred.

The pay range for this position is $165000-$195000/yr USD.
