What Will You Be Doing at Woodard & Curran

Woodard & Curran is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our water and wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations in LaBelle Florida. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment vehicles and systems operate safely reliably and efficiently.

The Maintenance Technician performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities across a wide range of mechanical equipment and infrastructure working closely with site leadership to meet operational goals.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

The role requires availability for weekend or holiday work oncall rotations and emergency response as needed. A companyprovided phone will be issued.

What Will You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience maintaining equipment used in water and wastewater treatment facilities including pumps motors collection systems chemical feed systems and landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read meters gauges drawings panels and other technical materials.
  • Basic proficiency in reading math writing and verbal communication.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Valid Florida drivers license with a safe driving record.
  • Willingness to work varied schedules and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a DOT background check DOT pre-placement physical and DOT drug screen before employment.
$22 - $30 an hour
Depending on qualifications and experience.
