Experienced Consultant, Healthcare

West Monroe is seeking anExperienced Consultant to join the Healthcare Practice team. As a Consultant you will be an integral part of teams that identify shape and deliver high-value transformation programs to address our clients most complex strategic and operational challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work across both health plans and dental plans delivering business and technology solutions that drive measurable outcomes and long-term value.

Responsibilities

Client Delivery:

• Work directly with clients to implement processes and technology that drive business value and improve operational efficiency across business and technical functions
• Partner with business stakeholders to define and design new business processes aligned to strategic objectives
• Facilitate client workshops to envision the future state of the healthcare industry and translate insights into business process designs and requirements
• Support detailed requirements gathering and documentation
• Lead package and solution evaluations aligned to industry leading practices within the healthcare ecosystem
• Interface with stakeholders across all levels of client organizations and internal teams

Project Management:

• Develop client-ready communications to support decision-making communicate project status mitigate risks and resolve issues
• Contribute to the development of key project deliverables including project plans implementation plans communication strategies and financial models
• Partner with engagement leadership to proactively identify and mitigate project risks
• Collaborate with West Monroe and client team members to build and sustain high-performing integrated project teams

Business and Practice Development:

• Support business development efforts through contributions to proposals project approaches and client presentations
• Contribute to practice development by helping build tools methodologies and reusable assets that enhance delivery quality and consistency

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

26 years of experience working in a team-based consulting environment and directly with external clients with a strong understanding of healthcare industry operations

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: organizational transformation process improvement product development or managing teams and workstreams
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and sound judgment
• Experience working collaboratively on large-scale initiatives
• Strong communication skills including the ability to present to senior and executive-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated presentation and business development skills including supporting the sales process
• Experience developing work plans project scopes and pricing estimates
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities to drive concurrent initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Ability to travel to client-site 30-50%
