Job Description This position is responsible for the procurement of a variety of highly complex goods and non-professional services. This is an entry-level position and you should or will become familiar with procurement laws regulations policies and procedures as well as strategic analytics. Writes and issues IFBs and RFPs and all associated activity under the guidance of the Associate Director of Procurement and Contracts. Receives and evaluates bids and proposals and makes award determination. Establishes manages maintains and administers various types of contracts. Coordinate procurement activities write reports attend meetings lead training sessions and provide briefings to management as requested. |
Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience with procurement of goods and non-professional services. Must be customer-service oriented. |
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of the Commonwealth of Virginia Procurement Manual for Institutions of Higher Education and Their Vendors. |
