Lead the team efforts focused on maintaining safety inventory and equipment at an assigned account or group of accounts. This position focuses on ensuring our chemical feed equipment is properly working and our products are transferred in a safe manner. Safety and communication are the highest priorities in this job. Its important to discuss all daily and weekly work requests with the sales team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Specs out sets up maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
  • Manages product inventory at the customer site transfers product when needed & responsible for uploading new order requests
  • Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring;
  • Alerts the sales manager of potential problems or opportunities and creates customer interface to resolve issues
  • Minor interface levels with the customer to understand any issues and report back to Solenis team
  • Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
  • Has strong knowledge around spare parts for Solenis equipment and orders replacement parts when needed
  • Maintains a highly organized equipment area and exceeds customers housekeeping guidelinesand expectations
  • Safety Training- Responsible for completing and maintaining safety courses for Solenis as well as customer sites.
  • Mentor other technicians in the area and lead cross-training opportunities

  • 0 Safety Incidents
  • Meet all Customer and Solenis safety expectations
  • No additional cost for demurrage/expedites to maintain inventory
  • No equipment downtime affecting the customer
  • No call outs at night/on weekends due to Solenis equipment failures

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in pulp/paper textiles or chemical manufacturing

  • High level of mechanical aptitude including expertise with plumbing and pumps

  • Experience with troubleshooting electrical problems

  • Documented problem solving capability for complex and non-routine technical problems

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Good communication skills both written and oral with multiple organizational levels

  • Ability to work with autonomy

  • Must have a valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word Excel PowerPoint)

The expected compensation range for this position is between $84980.00 and $124630.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills experience and other factors permitted by law.
