Job Description

Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Systems Engineering Intern (Spring Semester)!

Are you ready to launch your career to the next level Join our mission-focused team where we value technical excellence collaboration and agility. Were the worlds leading provider of infrared sensors for space with customers like NASA ESA and the US Department of Defense.

What Youll Do:

• Write Python code and use QFitsView or similar software to analyze FITS files.

• Maintain the Requirements CrossReference Matrix.

• Review mechanical drawings and related documents.

• Analyze test data and support cryogenic testing.

• Support the Engineering Change process and drive document releases.

What You Need:

• Proficiency in Python.

• Strong attention to detail verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Handson experience performing test and debug activities.

• Previous exposure to one or more of the following:

  • Imaging systems

  • Semiconductors

  • Highspeed PCB design

  • Optics

  • Cryogenic testing

  • FITS/QFITS files

• Rising BS senior or MS/PhD student in Engineering Computer Science Physics Astronomy or a related field.

• U.S. Citizenship required.
