Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Newcastle Anglican are seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a casual basis working across our Mid North Coast facilities Taree Gloucester NSW.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to work in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect compassion integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.
Shifts include Morning Afternoon Night shifts covering leave periods.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Actively promote Anglican Cares positive culture through interactions with residents staff and their families
- Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
- Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
- Abide by Aged Care Standards
- Work as an effective team member
About you
- Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
