Job Purpose

The Remarketing Development Manager combines strategic input operationalexecutionand relationship management to maximise vehicle resale values and enhance the efficiency of HCUKs remarketing accountable for ensuring thatHCUKsvehicle disposal activities and processes align with its remarketing Development Manageris pivotal in managingdirect selling and post-sales remarketing operations while promoting the value of HCUKs innovative franchise dealer-focused remarketing role reports into the Head of Remarketing.

Key Accountabilities

GeneralStrategic

Under the guidance oftheHead of Remarketingassistin developing HCUKsvehicleremarketing strategywith specific focusonensuringmaximum sale prices are achieved and that effective processes and controls are particular:

  • Dealer engagement with our Digital Remarketing System (DRS)

  • Onboardingnew usersto our DRS and overallremarketing process

  • Management and maintenance of DRS users within the franchise dealer network

  • Assistin setting and monitoring vehicle prices in the DRS

  • Day to day contact for users to negotiateand close selected deals

  • Administer/manage anypostsaleenquiriesContribute to the strategic development of HCUK Remarketing.

Operational Planning
Based on the documented and agreed strategicobjectives developquarterlyactivity plansoutlining timings and high-level deliverables for remarketing our current fleet.

Budgetary Control
Manage the day-to-day delivery of agreed activity in line with prescribed budgets through ongoing review and monitoring of remarketing activities and costs.

Relationship Management
Assume day-to-day responsibility for developing andmaintainingongoing relationshipswithselectedremarketing outsourcedsuppliers. Establishappropriate oversightof their processes and service levels with the aim of ensuring a market competitive offering is in a sound working relationshipand knowledge sharewith HCUKssales teamsto drive remarketingobjectives.

Stakeholder Engagement
Establish a sound working relationship with internal and external stakeholderstohelp optimise HCUKs business offering and communicationchannels exist across all business functions and partners.

Risk Management
Work in conjunction with HCUKs RiskDepartmentto ensure business performance is optimisedand HCUK reputational risk protected through the alignment of competitive residual values v market trends.

Insight & Continuous Improvement
Through utilisingappropriate insight(industry business customer and technological etc.) drive continual improvement and help to differentiate HCUKsoverallofferingtogenerate added value to the organisationscustomers OEMpartnersand Dealers.

Compliance
Adhere to HCUK policies and processes with regards to personal conduct and ensure that services are provided in a compliant manner and are aligned to the organisations overall values and a wider culture of Treating Customers Fairly.

Governance & Regulation
Ensure all activity is carried out in line with HCUKs governance framework and in line regulatory business principles including the delivery of good customer outcomes.

OtherCarry out any other tasks from time to time as mayreasonably berequested.

Required Experience and Expertise

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Worked within motor related financial services/vehicleremarketingwitha full working knowledge offleetvehicle remarketing.
  • Demonstrated and consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience of automotive process managementincorporating use of digital management systems
  • Displays sound commercial acumenandunderstandsthe drivers of profitability in a business
  • Able to managemultiple stakeholder management (both internal and external)
  • Able to produce presentations including business case proposals and requirementsbriefsand presentations
  • Has an appreciation of legal regulatory and compliance issues and is familiar with the principles encapsulated within the FCAs treating customer fairly code of conduct

Inadditionit is expected that any candidateis able todisplay a good understanding of the general market sector have excellent interpersonal skills and is comfortable and confidentindealing with senior-level management.

Other Information

  • The position requires domestic travel including occasional overnight travel
  • The role will behome based. Occasional visits to the Hyundai Capital UK head office will berequired. The head office is based in Reigate Surrey.

Remuneration Package

  • Competitive base salary ranging from approximately 44000 to 49000 depending on experience / expertise.

  • Eligibility for annual bonus up to 15%

  • Company car provided.
