Job Summary
PrimaryResponsibilities:
Providedirect clinical services thatinclude but are not limited to diagnostic assessment individual family and group therapies crisisinterventionand services will primarily be provided in aschoolsetting but may also include community-based settings as needed andappropriateincluding meeting HIPAA standards ( & Girls Club etc.)
Developtreatment plansin cooperation with clientsfamilies and treatment team membersand performreviews/updates specific to organization policies and proceduresstateand federal regulations.
Participate in departmental and program treatment team meetings staff meetingstrainingand supervision.
Participates in school-based family service or referral meetings IEP & 504 conferences parent-teacher conferences open houses in-service trainingsschooland district committees etc.
Work with administrative support andutilizationreviewstaff tofacilitateschedulingpriorand continuing authorizations for services and transfers/discharges.
Completeallclinical and administrative processesincludingdocumentationincompliance with organization department and programpolicies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations(Medicaid Joint Commission insurance etc.)as it relates tocontent and timeframes for assessments treatment plans and review progress notesservices provided billing meeting direct care expectationsetc.
Providetimelycommunication verbally and in writing withsupervisor colleaguesclients families schools courtsother professionals within and outside the includes returning phone calls writing letters emails etc.
Work with other professionals and programs within the MFHcontinuum of care and/or otheroutside organizations and agencies to coordinate the best andmostappropriate treatmentforMFHclients including transfers andreferrals to other programs or agenciesasneeded.
Assistin preparation for and helpmaintaincompliance withstate and federal licensing and accreditation regulations( Joint CommissionDept. of Human Services Dept. of Health etc.) asappropriateand needed.
Maintain professional licensure by completing required continuing educationand providing copies of updated license and CEU certificates to Human Resources.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work Counseling or related field
Licensed in good standingby Arkansas Professional Board as an LMSW LCSW LAC LPC LPE LPE-I PhD
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in aschool-basedor community based behavioral healthsetting
Experience working with at-riskyouth
Trauma Focused CBT certified or in progress
Other specialized training/certification or in progress ( therapy EMDR etc.)
Ability to be flexiblewithschedule
Experience working in an Electronic Medical Record
Additional Mandatory Requirements:
Ability to document accurately andprofessionally
Must be physically capableof receivingverbal and writtendirections
Remains current in Crisis Prevention Intervention Training CPR & First Aid
Must be willing and able to work with all patients of Methodist Family Health regardless ofgender
Must have good auditoryvisualand olfactoryability
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objectstoolsorcontrols
Must be able tomaintaineffective audio visualdiscriminationand perception needed for making observations communicating with othersreadingand writing and operating office equipment and other treatment equipment.
Must be able to use a telephone to communicate verbally and a computer to communicate through written means to review information and enter/retrieve data to see and read characters on a computer screenchartor other treatmentitems
Requires the ability to sit forlong periodsof time and intermittently walk stand stoop kneelcrouchand reach with hands and arms.

Level One - Full Access:
Ongoing regular access to PHI of all forms while the employee is on duty and performing within the scope of his or her job as defined by the employees job description and Policy and access must be for cause consistent with job responsibilities and related to patients claims audits reviews and other legitimate business purposes.
