SUMMARY
Coordinates the activities and functions of designated programs. Analyzes evaluates and ensures that the goals and objectives for the program are accomplished according to established priorities time and funding limitations or other specifications.
This position coordinates the child find process for unenrolled students and the day-to -day operations of the Exceptional Education preschool programs located at elementary and K-8 schools across the district. Coordinates the activities and functions of designated program components. Provides coordinating services placement and enrollment professional development collaboration with Early Childhood Education partnerships program assessment budgets evaluations special education compliance measures and the overall success of the preschool programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree AND
Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Bachelors Degree AND
Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
OR
Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
One year of supervisory experience.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing database and spreadsheet programs.
Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree or higher in Early Childhood Child Development or closely related field.
Experience managing a program and its staff.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Work Calendar:12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
