Description of Work
This CES I will supervise offenders in the loading and unloading of products shipped and received out of Correction Enterprises Apex facility. This includes maintaining accurate inventory in reference to product receipt and storage. . This includes offender training and monitoring for storing materials properly in the warehouse or on a truck/trailer.Train offender staff on safety and the maintaining of a safe work environment. Also hold the offender staff accountable to safe working behaviours. Maintain all offender safety files and monthly safety inspection records
Perform cycle counts to verify on hand inventory and to ensure that product inventories reconcile with system quantities. Also guard against materials being lost misplaced or inadequately accounted for.
Various duties assigned by the Distribution Manager Warehouse Manager and/or Logistics Manager including but not limited to warehouse sanitation general warehouse maintenance and forklift/ equipment maintenance and repair.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $37377 - $65408
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required. Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

Knowledge of receiving and shipping procedures and processes
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. pallet jack forklift etc.)
Physical able to lift and move relatively heavy objects up to 75lbs

Plant Specific Special Requirements
Agriculture - NC Pesticide License and NC Wastewater License
Cannery Low Acid and Acidified Food Production certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
Laundry - Certified Professional Laundry Manager or Certified Laundry and Linen Manager certification.
Braille - Certified Braille Transcriber certificate must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
