Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. The Senior Engineering Program Manager represents Operations as the Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) and is the primary Operations interface to the New Product Development Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role leading a global operations team responsible for shaping the manufacturing architecture to successfully develop and launch new products to meet costqualityand supply goals for the business.

The Sr Engineering Program Manager (CTOR) will provide program leadership to drive strategic and tactical activities for operations onNewProduct Development Core team.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Lead the Extended Operations Teamcomprising ofSupply Management Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineering Process Development Packaging and Supply Chain to ensure on-time and on-budget performance through the new product development cycle.

  • Champion the Voice of Operations (VOO) as well as drive planning and execution to ensure scope schedule and budget alignment between operations and core team functions.

  • Track and Manage Operations KPIs such as Predictive LBMs Predictive RTYs Capacity Planning & BOM Readiness.

  • Demonstrate strong financial acumenwith managingdirectexpense capital unit pricing & free cash flow.

  • Lead Design Transfer andCommercial BuildReadiness to ensure quality system compliance to achieve production readiness and successful product launches.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to lead and Influence between Extended Operations Team and Core Team.

  • Coach and develop extended Operations members to help individuals advance their skills and careers. Provide performance feedback.

  • Integrate Design for Reliability & Manufacturability (DRM) during product development as well as ensure structured problem methods and predictive engineering principles are consistently and rigorously applied.

  • Skilled negotiator withdemonstratedability to create mutually beneficial results and negotiate trade-offs.

  • Partner within the Operating Unit (OU) & Global Operations and supply chain (GO-SC) to grow and nurture cross functional & cross manufacturing site relationships in a large & matrixed organization.

Must Have:MinimumRequirements

  • Bachelors degreewith7 years of relevant experience

  • OR an advanced degree with 5 years ofexperience

Nice to Have

  • 3 yearsof managerial experience

  • Experience as a Program Manager leading large scale new product development programs.

  • Proven Operations experience with depth of knowledge in at least two Operationsfunction.

  • Advanced degree in engineering/science ora relateddiscipline.

  • Medical Device product development or operations experience with catheterssheathsor other disposable medical devices.

  • Program Management experience (PMP Certified) DRM DFSS or Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$170400.00 - $255600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered ratecomplies withfederal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits informationpertainssolely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
