Garment Technologist Licensed Brands
Job Summary
Working Pattern: Typically 5 days in the office with core hours flexible between 8am to 6pm.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make an impact and contribute to the continuing success of the Licensing area. Licensing is a rapidly expanding department at Next featuring childrenswear brands such as Baker by Ted Baker Small Saints Little bird Superdry Laura Ashley Clarks Paul Smith Olivia Rubin & Castore.This role offers an excellent chance to contribute to the ongoing success of the Licensing area and make a significant impact.
What Youll Take On
-Developing multipleproduct areas; focusing on front end product development blocks & fit driving technical innovation and product improvements whilst promoting collaborative and close working relationships across all of Licensed Brands Product teams.
-Approving and progressing the range; delivering good quality standards providing clear and concise written and verbal communication internally and externally; whilst managing supply base to meet expectations.
-Managing in season; reviewing product quality throughout season auditing and utilising information to further improve quality and drive down returns.
What Youll Bring
A team player and a leader as youll be managing an Assistant Technologist; you will have great people skills too. Using your extensive technical experience & exceptional eye for technical detail to deliver great quality in a high profile department . Utilising your qualifications & experience within the garment industry you will communicate effectively within a multi functional team. Youll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of pattern construction and manufacturing methods. Experienced in Menswear and Kids product areas is essential Womenswear product experience would also put you in great stead you will show drive and initiative to generate and implement new ideas for the brand.
