Support Pharmacist - Dublin 24
QR Select is delighted to partner with an independently owned pharmacy to recruit a Support Pharmacist for a full-time permanent position in a busy community pharmacy located in Dublin 24. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a genuine passion for healthcare.
The pharmacy operates 7 days a week role involves working 40 hours per week alternative weekends and one late night a week until 8pm.
As a Support Pharmacist your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues patients suppliers and the wider community.
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
- Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate up-to-date and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment promptly addressing any health and safety concerns with the pharmacy manager.
- Delivering the highest standards of care and service to patients while on duty.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs provided by the pharmacy.
- Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the pharmacy team.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm degree.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
