Sanitation Coordinator
WAGE RANGE: $25.21- $29.03
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Sanitation Coordinator is primarily responsible for the in-depthsanitation and cleanliness of assigned areas of the addition theincumbent may have a variety of duties such as pest treatments assisting inthe warehouse flour packing mill and other departments upon receivingsupervisory approval.
Responsibilities:
Sanitation:
Maintainssanitation of assigned areas of the plant ensuring areas are clean to BRCstandards and pest-free.
Ensurestasks are completed as outlined in the Quality Assurance master sanitationschedule.
Fillsout all appropriate paperwork.
Ensuresrequired communication takes place regarding sanitation completed or inprogress.
Reportsall leaks and malfunctions in all areas to appropriate Supervisor or PlantManager
Maintainsgood sanitary condition in production facility.
Reportssanitation issues to operators and Plant Manager/QA Supervisor
Assistwith maintaining machinery in good operating condition in co-operation withMaintenance Department
Is awareof critical control points as they relate to product liability.
FollowGood Manufacturing (GMPs) while performing job duties and tasks.
Performsall other related job duties and assignments including training as required.
Responsiblefor compliance with Canada Labour Occupational Health and Safety requirementsand company safety standards
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade12 or equivalent
Detailorientated.
Availablefor shift work weekends and holidays as required.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic able towork independently or with a team.
Forklift and scissor left experience is an asset.(Rogers Foods provides training and certification)
