Job Summary
Completesserviceduties on all for repairing andmaintainingsecurity systems after provides feedback on anycurrent and upcomingservice calls as well astechnicians performing -site directive to teamwhilemaintainingexpectedpriority levelsofprojectsandassistingoninstalls. Keepsup to date on emerging technology andassistswithselectionofnew products and manufacturers. Ensures all work assignments are successfully implemented andmaintainedto company standards to includesupportingsalescustomerservicestechnicalequipmenttrainingandorientation to meet or exceed standards and forecasts.
Scope of Work:
Assiststhe ProjectandServiceManagerswithassessing priority andscheduling of work activitiesandtimelydelivery of equipment
Meets with clients to discuss concerns or issueswiththe performance of the system
Utilizes diagnostic tools to assess the performance of variouscomponentsof various systems
Identifiesproblems and potential problemsappilessolutions andengages in troubleshooting efforts until a solution is found
Upgrades andmodifiesexisting installations to improve the performance or stability of the system
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to catch issues before they become a problem for the end user
Programsandconfigurescommercial electronic security systemsincludingdoor access control CCTV intrusion detection low voltage communication signaling devicesetc.
Reviewsall workto ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfylocalcoderequirements
Demonstratesthe companycore values as a highly skilled leader on thetechnicianteam
Managesmultipleprojectssimultaneously within approved hours and margin tolerances
Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managers and/or supervisors
Follows all OSHA standards
Other tasks asassigned by management
Requirements:
Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
- Minimum3years of experience in the low-voltage security industry
- Possess the ability to develop andpresent information to team members and clients
Possesses advancedtroubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Must be detail-oriented andhighlyorganized
Deliversproduct training to end-users
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office products (Word Excel andTeams)
Overnight travel may berequiredon an as-need basis
Must be able to work in variousenvironmental conditions
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to workin confined spaces and onladders and lifts at various heights
Mustpossessa valid PA drivers license
Must be able to pass a drug andalcoholtest
