Operations Supervisor Night Shift
At McKesson we deliver critical healthcare products that support patients and providers every day. As an Operations Supervisor Night Shift you will lead overnight warehouse operations ensuring accurate safe and timely receiving picking and shipping of pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Youll coach and develop your team while driving productivity quality safety and continuous improvement in a fastpaced distribution environment.
What Youll Do
- Lead coach and engage night shift associates and team leads addressing performance attendance and corrective actions as needed.
- Plan and oversee nightly warehouse operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and ontime shipping.
- Lead shift huddles team meetings training sessions and newhire safety orientations.
- Support labor planning and productivity goals to meet operational targets.
- Champion McKesson safety housekeeping and compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators including productivity accuracy quality and attendance; take corrective action when needed.
- Troubleshoot operational issues using rootcause problem solving to reduce disruptions and improve workflows.
- Partner with Inventory Control Transportation and other supervisors to optimize overall distribution center performance.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse systems and accurate reporting and documentation.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Night Shift: Sunday Thursday
- Typical hours may include 7:00 PM 5:00 AM or until work is completed
- Must be able to work a consistent night schedule including weekends or holidays as business needs require
- Night shift differential eligible
What Youll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations with supervisory or leadership responsibility.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
- Strong communication coaching and conflictresolution skills.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations inventory control and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and comfort analyzing operational data.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand and walk for extended periods and work in a warehouse environment.
