The Role

We are currently seeking co-educators who will assist in implementing a care program catering to the individual needs of each child within a group setting.

Co-educators play a crucial role at Sheldon College with each day offering a variety-filled and dynamic experience.

Primary duties include supervising and interacting with the children setting up activities and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all at our ELC facilities.

This role includes a strong responsibility for child safety and wellbeing ensuring all practices align with legislative requirements and the Colleges Child Safety and Wellbeing framework.

About you

• Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate
• Current ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training
• Ability to create a safe secure learning environment where individual differences are respected and valued
• Strong team orientation with the willingness to contribute and collaborate
• Ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues parents and the wider community
• Demonstrated professional communication skills
• High standards of personal integrity and professionalism
