About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about Aged Care and Nursing Then this is the role for you. We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual basis with penalty rates in play. We currently have several shifts on offer
with the ability to pick up extra shifts covering planned and unplanned leave.
Reporting to the Care Manager you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to the elderly in line with Aged Care and Allity standards whilst working within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for completing holistic assessments developing appropriate care plans evaluating and determining clinical decisions that guide our care staff.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse youll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are include:
- Providing and monitoring the care of residents
- Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
- Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
- Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
- Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team
To be successful you will have
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care is desirable
- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in charge experience desirable
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and all levels of staff
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
