Job Responsibilities:

• Sound Experiences in Design/ Analysis of Steel structure and connections using Excel spreadsheets/ manual calculation/ or similar software.

• Preparation of standard connection catalogue.

• Typical projects would consist of steel connection design miscellaneous steel design and erection engineering.

• Additional responsibilities include calculation development steel shop drawing reviews submittal preparation.

• Utilize analysis software programs such as Ram Connection RISA Connection Excel Idea Statica BlueBeam Trimble Connect and Revit.

• Review 3-D BIM models to aid in building design connection design and shop drawing reviews.

• Checking of fabrication and engineering drawings to match the design intent.

• Prepare design basis report and design reports of structures.

• Prepare drawing packages and issue to the client as per scheduled delivery dates.

• Review and ensure accuracy of approval and proposal drawings.

• Strong mathematical skills for performing structural calculations including statics dynamics and mechanics of materials.

• Ensure all the office procedures manuals and client standards are understood and followed meticulously by the staff.

• Keeping track of schedules and meeting deliverables on all the jobs

• Coordinate with all internal departments.

Qualifications:

• 4 years experience as a Connection Design Engineer. Willing to consider candidates who are able to demonstrate significant experience in a related field.

• Knowledge of AISC standard to ensure compliance in structural design.

• An advanced understanding of relavant building codes materials and standards.

• Software skills with any of the following are a plus: Ram Connection RISA Connection Excel Idea Statica Bluebeam Trimble Connect and Revit.

• Knowledge on design of all types of steel connections. (Ranging from shear moment brace truss etc )

• Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance.

• Deadline driven with an attention to detail.

• Must have good communication skills. (Written & Spoken).

Education:

• Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil Mechanical

• Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization PG Diploma - Any Specialization Civil Mechanical
