Accounts Client Manager
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: 45000 to 60000 bonus Hybrid (2 days WFH) core hours 10:00 to 16:00
Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified Accounts Client Manager from practice ready to step into a role where you can genuinely lead client relationships and shape delivery across a high-quality portfolio Our client is a leading independent Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm continuing to grow steadily and looking to add an experienced Client Manager to their Manchester team.
Youll work with a broad mix of clients from start-ups to established owner-managed businesses with turnovers up to 200m so no two days look the same.
The Opportunity
A varied client-facing role where you will take ownership of a portfolio lead accounts delivery end-to-end and support the development of colleagues and trainees with clear progression as the firm continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and project managea portfolio ofnon-auditclients
- Take the lead onaccounts preparation from initial planning through tofinal sign-off
- Lead and develop client relationships acting as a trusted point of contact
- Trackjob progressand managebilling targets
- Ensure work is completedto a high standardon time and in line withfinancial regulations
- Respond to client queries in a timely efficient manner
- Use systems includingCCH Sage and Xero
- Support colleagues and trainees withdevelopment and technical guidance
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience in practice as aClient Manager(or equivalent portfolio management role)
- Strong background acrossaccounts and tax
- Commutable to Manchester City Centre
- Confident managing deadlines stakeholders and multiple client priorities
Salary and Benefits
- 45000 to 60000(depending on experience)plus bonus
