AWC Staff Services are looking for aProject Manager to join a growing team delivering essential infrastructure projects within the UK Water sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to lead projects from inception through to completion ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in line with client requirements.
Coordinate with clients subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Oversee site activities ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Monitor programme schedules risk and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce and present project reports to senior stakeholders and clients.
Manage procurement of materials subcontractors and resources.
Ensure all works comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the water or utilities sector.
Experience delivering civil engineering pipeline or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of project planning cost management and programme delivery.
Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of NEC contracts is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in engineering construction or project management preferred.
Desirable
Experience working with major water frameworks.
Professional accreditation such as APM PRINCE2 or similar.
SMSTS / CSCS certification.
