AWC Staff Services are looking for aProject Manager to join a growing team delivering essential infrastructure projects within the UK Water sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to lead projects from inception through to completion ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in line with client requirements.
- Coordinate with clients subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee site activities ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor programme schedules risk and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and present project reports to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Manage procurement of materials subcontractors and resources.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the water or utilities sector.
- Experience delivering civil engineering pipeline or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning cost management and programme delivery.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering construction or project management preferred.
Desirable
- Experience working with major water frameworks.
- Professional accreditation such as APM PRINCE2 or similar.
- SMSTS / CSCS certification.
