Were looking for someone special to join our Family Finding Team at Adoption Lancashire and Blackpool could that be you
Were excited to offer a fulltime permanent Social Worker position (Grade 8) within our dedicated Family Finding Team.
Since April 2020 Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council have come together to form our Regional Adoption Agency (RAA): Adoption Lancashire and Blackpool. Hosted by Lancashire County Council we provide a full range of adoption services to families right across the region.
As part of the RAA youll be helping to deliver key services including:
- Recruiting and assessing adopters
- Offering adoption support
- Contributing to adoption panels
- Family finding and matching children with their future families
Although our team is based centrally in Preston youll work flexibly meeting families across the region as part of your role. To be appointed as a Social Worker you must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) or have applied for registration.
