Bryant & Stratton College a leader in healthcare training is seeking experienced healthcare professionals to guide a structured self-paced online learning experience for our Professional Biller (CPB) classes. The focus of this course is on preparing students for the AAPC Certified Professional Biller must be effective communicators comfortable with using various teaching methods and technology.

Bryant & Stratton College Online adjunct instructors will support the colleges mission and vision by facilitating an active virtual learning classroom through alternative delivery methodologies. Instructors will maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in their discipline to support their expected classroom responsibilities. Instructors will participate in departmental campus-wide and college-wide activities to support the needs of the student population and the Continuing Education team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management Medical Billing/Coding or Health Information Technology
• Hold credentials from the AAPC for CPB
• A current AAPC-Approved Instructor for the CPB
• 1-2 years in the medical billing field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Teams and Internet applications

• Willingness to self-assess take feedback and incorporate results into practice
• Proven ability to function as a member of a team within established college state federal and accrediting/approval agency regulations policies and procedures

Preferred Requirements:

• Preferred candidates will possess a Masters degree in Healthcare Management Medical Billing/Coding or Health Information Technology
• Hold current credentials from the AAPC for CPB
• A current AAPC-Approved Instructor for CPC CPB
• 3-5 years in the medical billing field

Salary Range:

$800-$1000 per 8-week class (compensation based on class size)
