Holmanhas an outstanding opportunity for aTechnician Development Advisor tojoin the Holman family.
Pay Range: $107k -$118k per year Salary
Acting as a liaison between the stores service leadership team and the technicians the Technician Development Advisor wouldbe responsible forthe following:
Technician Onboarding
Work in conjunction with recruiting HR and hiring manager to ensure the process of onboarding including the application phase is completed quickly and efficiently.
Assistthe service manager with all aspects of onboarding including but not limited to bay assignment tool allocations uniforms parking required training work schedule and area familiarization.
Conduct bi-weeklycheck-inswith newemployeefor the first90 daysof employment.
At90 days work with the service manager toestablisha technician development plan.
Technician Career Development
At the90 dayreviewassistthe service manager toestablisha technician development plan.
Assistthe service manager to support technician development at all levels including training plans career path options and individual goals; skill level and pay progression; and administration of the mentorship program.
Assistthe service leadership team with manufacturer required training including tracking assigning and scheduling as well as any prerequisite requirements.
Technician Mentorship/Apprenticeship Program
Establish support and oversee a Holman specific apprenticeship program at each dealership ensuring thatthe eachlocation has a minimum number of apprentice technicians staffed along with adherence to a Holman/Brand standardized development path.
Create and manage a Holman specific mentorship program to support the success of the apprenticeship program pairing apprentice technicians with a more senior technician that can advise and train.
Work with the HR department and management toidentifyand execute action plans to improve technician retention.
Other
Build and maintain relationships with local tech schools.
Attend career fairs and discuss potential opportunities with students and job seekers.

Dealership Service experience is preferred
Established Automotive Tech experience with certifications is a plus

Regular Full-Time

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills experience relevant education or training and geographic location starting in the range of $60800.00 - $86640.00 USD annually for full time employees.
