What Youll Do
- Provide clinical leadership for change management such as integrated health care telehealth clinically integrated network partnership with CEO and Vice President of Health Services
- Provide clinical leadership in developing priorities new programs and program enhancement for Health Services using the strategic plan mission and evidenced based care as a guide.
- Lead the development of the Quality Improvement (QI) policy and annual workplan CHR oversee its implementation and report to the Quality Improvement Committee of the Board of Directors
- Be the clinical lead on risk management and compliance with the Federal Torts Claim Act
- Oversee the 340b pharmacy program which includes an inhouse pharmacy managed by a vendor
- Oversee the midwifery practice which includes deliveries at the only free-standing birth center in DC and Washington Hospital Center
- Provide direct medical care to patients following approved guidelines. Approximately 1 1.5 days per week
Requirements
Must-Haves
- MD/DO/NP license required; Board Certification required.
- Current DC license to practice and CDS license required. Any providers who are licensed in Maryland who provide a copy of their license and MD CDS to Talent Management are also eligible for MD licensure reimbursement.
- Current DEA license required.
- Minimum five years experience with supervising staff required.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and experience working as part of a team in a high paced environment required.
- Experience working in primary care required. Minimum five years experience practicing in community health or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- The position requires some flexible hours including a monthly evening meeting and an evening or Saturday as required for clinical coverage.
- Proof of vaccinations is required. COH will consider requests for reasonable accommodations for anyone who cannot be vaccinated for a religious or medical reason subject to applicable law.
- In relation to remote work versus on-site expectations this position is classified as the following: Hybrid: Remote work and on-site work requirements are generally split roughly 50/50. Please note that remote work designations are subject to change or fluctuate at any point in time and the supervisor may require in person learning for a specific amount of time after hire.

For over 45 years we have provided comprehensive health care housing and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness and community support services to make Washington DC more equitable. Community of Hope also strongly emphasizes maternal and child health with a midwifery practice and the only free-standing birth center in DC. We are honored to be one of DCs largest providers of housing and homelessness prevention services for families and individuals throughout DC. Through our Family Success Center our WIC nutrition centers and our various partnerships we have reached hundreds and believe that everyone in DC deserves to be healthy housed and hopeful.
