Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Traveling Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENGINE maintenance and repair industrial maintenance and be comfortable with extensive travel. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance repairs and installations of various types of engines and related equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks and services
• Interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints
• Calibrate and adjust engines and equipment for optimal performance
• Maintain accurate records of work performed parts used and time spent on each job
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and less experienced technicians
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory of tools parts and supplies in service vehicle
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs

Qualifications

• 2-20 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role
• Proven expertise in ENGINE maintenance repair and troubleshooting
• Strong background in industrial maintenance
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% of the time)
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree or relevant certifications preferred
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions

As a Full-time Traveling Field Service Technician you will be the face of our company providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our clients across various locations. Your primary focus will be on ENGINE maintenance and repair but you will also be expected to handle a wide range of industrial maintenance tasks.

Your typical day may involve:

• On-site Diagnostics and Repairs: You will travel to client locations to diagnose and repair various types of engines and related equipment. This may include diesel engines gas engines electric motors and hybrid systems. Youll need to quickly identify issues develop effective solutions and implement repairs efficiently.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and services to prevent potential breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance. This includes oil changes filter replacements belt adjustments and other routine maintenance tasks.
