Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain complex production systems with a focus on scalability reliability and long-term maintainability.
- Write high-quality code daily and own significant system components end-to-end from architecture through production operations.
- Make technical decisions that balance correctness performance cost and business impact across distributed systems.
- Identify architectural gaps and lead pragmatic improvements that strengthen system resilience and developer experience.
- Elevate engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews design discussions and mentorship of peers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience building and operating production software systems in collaborative environments.
- Strong ability to design distributed systems and reason through tradeoffs involving asynchronous workflows messaging and failure modes.
- Proficiency in modern backend development using languages such as C# Java or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of cloud and containerization technologies suchas Kubernetes Docker message queues event driven workflows etc.
- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms like Azure GCP or AWS
- Clear communicator with experience navigating ambiguity and driving technical decisions in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing or operating multi-tenant service-based architectures.
- Exposure to systems incorporating AI-driven capabilities in production environments.
- Track record of debugging complex production issues and leading system-level improvements.

The base pay range for this role is $96000 - $132000. In addition to base salary Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive) comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to: skill set experience education/training business needs and market demands.Required Experience:
