As a Specialist of Software Engineer reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Development youll play a critical role in designing and building complex production systems that power our technology platform.

Key Responsibilities
Design build and maintain complex production systems with a focus on scalability reliability and long-term maintainability.
Write high-quality code daily and own significant system components end-to-end from architecture through production operations.
Make technical decisions that balance correctness performance cost and business impact across distributed systems.
Identify architectural gaps and lead pragmatic improvements that strengthen system resilience and developer experience.
Elevate engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews design discussions and mentorship of peers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience building and operating production software systems in collaborative environments.
Strong ability to design distributed systems and reason through tradeoffs involving asynchronous workflows messaging and failure modes.
Proficiency in modern backend development using languages such as C# Java or JavaScript.
Deep understanding of cloud and containerization technologies suchas Kubernetes Docker message queues event driven workflows etc.
Experience with one of the major cloud platforms like Azure GCP or AWS
Clear communicator with experience navigating ambiguity and driving technical decisions in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing or operating multi-tenant service-based architectures.
Exposure to systems incorporating AI-driven capabilities in production environments.
Track record of debugging complex production issues and leading system-level improvements.
