Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee WI. This is a full-time on-site role responsible for setting up operating and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs and a stable work history.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficiently
- Program modify and optimize CNC machine operations
- Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and technical documents
- Minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Support knowledge sharing and assist in team development when needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role)
- Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Strong machining skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Good understanding of quality control and safety standards
- Stable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3 years with one employer)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)
Compensation
- CNC Operator: $20 $26/hour (based on experience)
- CNC Setup: $24 $28/hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule
- Primarily 1st Shift
- May require flexibility for 2nd Shift based on business needs
Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
