As a Security Officer Licensed Experienced Patrol in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an unarmed officer helping monitor and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols assist visitors and staff with professionalism and communicate clearly as part of a caring agile and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying supervisors emergency services and/or designated personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building public areas offices entrances and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials when required and document security-related incidents observations and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Support staff and visitors with directions questions and/or general assistance while maintaining awareness of site rules restricted areas and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
