A key role within the Quality Team supporting Disability Operations with a strong focus on audit readiness and collaboration across the organisation.
About the Role
This role will be an integral part of the Quality Team and provide valuable support to Disability Operations during the preparation for audit in August 2026 and the APO position which is a legislated role. The role will work closely with the Director Quality Risk and Safeguards Divisional Quality Managers Senior Leadership Team and work in collaboration with and provide support to Group Managers Service Leaders Site Coordinators Disability Support Workers and Supported Employees across Disability Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support NDIS and ACEQUA audit preparation and compliance
Assist with quality documentation aligned to NDIS standards
Contribute to peer audits reporting and improvement actions
Analyse incident and feedback data for continuous improvement
Participate in quality meetings and site-based audit activities
Undertake ad hoc quality and project tasks as required
Support NDIS and ACEQUA audit readiness
Assist with quality documentation (NDIS standards)
Deliver peer audits and track actions
Analyse incidents and feedback data
Attend audits meetings and site visits
Lead restrictive practice reduction initiatives
Ensure legislative and NDIS compliance
Authorise and report restrictive practices
Oversee behaviour support quality
Conduct audits and provide insights
Complete ad hoc quality and project tasks
Experience and Capabilities:
Background in disability support services community services essential
Possess familiarity with various Berry Street Yooralla IT systems
Proven ability to prioritise competing workloads in a fast paced environment
Understanding of human rights informed quality management principles and standards
Demonstrate foundational knowledge of the interface of quality practice and safeguards in the prevention of abuse and neglect of people with disability
Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels of the organisation
