This role will require 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

As a Senior Engineering Program Manager within Operations Innovation Manufacturing Technology you will play a critical role in advancing manufacturing technologies that reduce risk enable innovation and improve patient outcomes. This role drives execution across a defined portion of the Manufacturing Innovation and Technology project portfolio partnering with engineers across Centers of Excellence (COEs) OUs and manufacturing sites to mature technologies from concept through feasibility and readiness.

This position is designed for a technically fluent program leader who can operate effectively in a matrixed engineering environment and drive results through influence structure and disciplined execution.

• Plans directs and implements all aspects of the companys design and development of new medical device products or software systems.

• May develop evaluate implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials techniques or company products.

• Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.

• Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies materials machines processes or products.

• Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.

• Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.

• Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.

• Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

• Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7 years of experience with a bachelors degree or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

• Strongly Preferred:

  • Previous Medtronic experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid presentation and computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint etc. )

• Strong project management skills including experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Work independently and collaboratively across functions.

• Ability to develop and adapt business processes to support a dynamic and growing organization.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$168800.00 - $253200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
