Unarmed Security Officers FOR A DRIVING POSITION in Nassau County

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS for a driving position in Nassau County NY.

Locations & Shifts:

Roslyn: Saturday & Sunday 1200-2000 Payrate: 18.50/hr.

Nassau Rover: Thursday Friday 0000-0600 Saturday & Sunday 1800-0000 Payrate: $18.50/hr.

JOB SUMMARY:

Doyle Security Services is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a driving post. This position involves operating a company vehicle to perform routine mobile patrols monitoring for suspicious activity responding promptly to incidents or alarms and providing a visible security presence to deter potential threats. The officer must maintain accurate reports of daily activities incidents and observations while communicating effectively with supervisors clients and local authorities as necessary. Additionally the position requires adherence to all company policies traffic laws and safety procedures as well as a high level of professionalism and customer service during all interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for monitoring and reporting activities and incidents at the assigned site to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
• Conducts mobile patrols and completes scans every thirty minutes.
• Maintains order and enforces site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel visitors and the premises.
• Securing premises inspecting buildings equipment and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• This position requires the ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
