Senior Lab Associate

Primary Duties Responsibilities

• Maintain -20 freezer and cold room organization with incoming inventory and purging of expired material.

• Support inventory processes solutions and strategies for continuous improvement of inventory accuracy; includes cycles counts data entry tracking reconciling documenting and reporting.

• Implement process changes to provide continuous improvement in work flow operational procedures and other related business areas.

• Plan perform and direct activities regarding receipts and deliveries of slides and fluids .

• Facilitate communication between works centers and manager.

• work area in a clean and orderly manner.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Required Skills Abilities

• Ability to read analyze and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents and technical procedures.

• Ability to complete formal documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Thorough accurate and detail-oriented.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

• Proficient computer skills in MS Office SAP Internet etc.

Physical Demands

• Regularly perform repetitive manual operations.

• Occasionally required to climb balance bend stoop kneel or crouch.

• Frequently required to lift move and carry up to 50 pounds and to use mechanical lift.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision color vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

• Ability to work in -20 freezer and cold room with provided cold gear.

• Weekend hours may be required

Work Environment

• Normal production and/or lab environment.

• -20 freezer and cold room.

• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

• Personal protective equipment and/or clothing required.

• The noise level is low to moderate
