The Role

The Frontend Software Engineer at Fidelity Labs is a pivotal role for the continued success and growth of the Fidelity Private Shares. The Fidelity Private Shares team delivers innovative technology robust industry experience and expertise and seamless service to the start-up ecosystem through Fidelity Investments.

In this role you will be hands-on in the developing testing delivery and support of the user experience and frontend technology that drives the Fidelity Private Shares platform. Youll work closely with technical leads and product managers to support our customers and inform the product as well as researching and developing new growth opportunities to expand on the strengths of the core technology.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Proven experience building deploying and Angular web applications

• Understanding and experience working with source code management testing and CI/CD processes and tools such as jest Github and Jenkins

• Strong analytical technical and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions

• A passion for engineering excellence; a desire to empower and collaborate with your teammates; a willingness to learn; and adaptability to new and changing requirements

• A sense of ownership utilizing automation and tests to make sure code is robust as possible

• Ability and desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
