About the Role
You have exemplary skills in one or more of the major specialities of cardiac sonography (echocardiography) / interventional & structural heart procedures / cardiac rhythm management. Depending on your experience and skills.
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography for the patient population referred to St Vincents Cardiac Services.
- Assist in the performance of all facets of cardiac rhythm management and invasive electrophysiology services
- Provision of haemodynamic monitoring preparation of medical equipment and assistance in the performance of both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures for the patient population of St Vincents Hospital
Classifications for this position will range from SO57 - SO60 Grade 3 Sonographer ($104135.20 - $118981.20 per annum pro rata).
A Grade 2 Sonographer may also be considered. Classifications for this position will range from SO554 - SO56 Grade 2 Sonographer ($84872.80 - $94374.80 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
Cardiac Sonographers require to be fully accredited with ASAR
Grade 3 CRM staff require IBHRE Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with greater than five years experience is preferred.
Participate and be flexible with rostered shifts the on-call roster and have reliable attendance
Current National Criminal History Check or agreement to obtain at own expense.
