Job Summary
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Managing Director Singapore you will lead the budget process and as well as day to day financial operations
- Act as a strong business partner by providing insight and analyses to support the need of the business.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and internal company guidelines.
- Work closely with internal audit team to manage companys risk.
- Ensure data integrity and the appropriate process and system controls are in place.
- Setting best practice with regards to controlling and mitigating operational tax risk.
- Liaise with business leaders to understand service line requirements and optimize the Finance resource deployment to assist.
- Liaise with external clients and Colliers service providers to achieve strategic goals.
Financial Management
- You will lead a team of Finance Managers Internal and External (outsource) Accountants to ensure timely and accurate book-keeping.
- Ensures accurate and timely month end closing Balance Sheet review and Profit and Loss review (Full Set of Accounts).
- Coordinates with various stakeholders to prepare monthly forecasts and annual budget.
Statutory Reporting (Audit & Taxation)
- Review the Financial Statements Statutory reports and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.
- Corporate tax preparation (ECI reporting GST reporting corporate tax reporting)
Internal Control & System Integration
- Review and improve accounting and finance processes for better workflow efficiency and controls.
- Manage and supervise daily operations and performance of the team to ensures a sound system of internal control for the department.
- Participate in the financial system integration process with global team.
- Determine resource requirements and monitor existing and new client engagements.
- Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications :
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a commercial environment
- Holds a professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant CPA ACCA CIMA or similar) Strong knowledge of Singapore tax law US GAAP and Sarbanes -Oxley
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of business both internally and externally
- Proven track record in investment property management in particular working on behalf of institutional investors including a thorough understanding of common commercial & industrial leasing practices legislation procedures and terminology.
- Strong numerical analytical and problem-solving skills to generate information that provides sound business decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Excellent presentation skills high attention to detail ensuring production of consistent quality internal and external reporting and client submissions.
