We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team.
As an Appliance Repair Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing major household appliances in customers homes while delivering professional friendly service. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated organized and enjoys problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair major household appliances including washers dryers dishwashers refrigerators ovens and ranges
- Provide clear explanations and repair estimates to customers
- Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate service records invoices and work orders
- Ensure company vehicle and tools are properly maintained
- Deliver outstanding customer service during every visit
Job Requirements:
- Appliance repair experience preferred (training from SAIT or equivalent is an asset)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
Comfortable using tablets or mobile software for service documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
As an appliance repair technician youll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to other words youll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances portable appliances mechanical work as well as electrical work.
Youll deal with more than just appliances though as a repair technician youll have to deal with people too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude have impeccable written and verbal communication skills work adeptly with repair tools be okay with lifting heavy machinery and of course be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
