The Role / Te Mahi

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to join our Pathway team to deliver the Level 4 Geography New Zealand History International Studies Contemporary Environment and International Studies An Historical Perspective..

As a Pathway Teacher and Paper Coordinator you will update curriculum content prepare learning materials manage assessments write examination papers oversee marking and complete final exam reporting.

You will also engage with teaching practices that support Māori and Pasifika learners and align with the University of Otagos strategic frameworks. Māori and Pacific candidates are encouraged to apply. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively influence learners study journeys.

Skills and Experience / Kā Pūkeka me Kā Wheako

You will hold a higher level discipline related qualification and/or teaching qualification along with experience teaching at tertiary and/or secondary level.

Confidence working with diverse learners is important and previous experience teaching international students will be an advantage. Equally important is a commitment to upholding values tikanga kawa and traditions as guided by Ngāi Tahu who hold mana whenua in the region.

This role is ideal for an energetic and creative educator who is passionate about making a difference and contributing meaningfully to their discipline.

This is a full-time (1 FTE) permanent position based in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

The salary range for this position is $75727 to $103641 Top of Range $111197.
