What Youll do:
Groundswell is looking for experiencedtechnical Appian consultantsto provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisors to our clients. Architects help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our clients architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide clients on architecture design integration scalability configuration management DevSecOps and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success
Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems
Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations
Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
Provide thought leadership on process improvement
Support internal solutions infrastructure and tools
Mentorship training and enablement of resources
Required Qualifications:
6 years of experience with Appian solutions
6 years of related IT experience
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science Information Systems Systems Engineering or related area
Active Appian Lead Certification
Strong experience with Agile delivery
Strong technical implementation skills
Strong database design and development skills
Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
Experience implementing Cloud On-Premises and Hybrid platform deployments
Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
Strong organizational skills attention to details ability to work in a high-paced environment multi-task (prioritize and manage) and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy professionalism and a do whatever it takes attitude)
This is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote)
Must be able to obtain and maintain federal government security clearance. U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) is required for clearance purposes. Active Secret clearance or higher preferred.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
