Bank of Americas Global Commercial Banking business is seeking a Market Executive (ME) to lead and expand its industryleading market presence in Northern New Jersey. The Middle Market segment of Global Commercial Banking serves public and private companies with annual revenues ranging from $50 million to more than $2 billion.
The Market Executive serves as the senior market leader with overall responsibility for revenue growth and profitability. Key accountabilities include developing and executing the market strategy driving client satisfaction overseeing and reinforcing the Client Management Process and recruiting developing and retaining top talent. The role focuses primarily on three areas: coaching and developing Relationship Managers (RMs) and client teams; engaging with clients through meetings and market events; and partnering with the market leadership team to shape and execute strategic priorities. This position will be based in Iselin New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Northeast Regional Executive
- Manages a team of Relationship Managers and Commercial Associates and enhances team performance through recruiting coaching and development activities
- Increases profitability by driving responsible growth retention/acquisition and exceptional service for clients with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion across all major industries
- Is a senior leader and core team member of the NJ Market President team. Responsible for linking the NJ MM team to the greater NJ Marketand delivering enterprise integration cross line of business opportunities to both client base and associates.
- Oversees team activity and coordinates the pipeline of deals facilitating hand-offs between members of the client teams and improving the client management process
- Allocates resources strategically in the market including credit products treasury solutions and sales support resources to capitalize on market opportunity
- Partners with product specialists to ensure all capabilities of the firm are accounted for during client/prospect interactions and develops relationships with cross Line of Business (LOB) leaders key support partners and other Market Executives
- Leads and/or participates in company-wide projects or initiatives such as Operational Excellence/Simplification (OpEx/SIM) and related hiring strategy initiatives to achieve desired business outcomes
- Drives overall team performance around key priorities such as new client acquisition digital and Environment Social and Governance (ESG) by raising awareness through meetings in collaboration with relevant key partners driving individual accountability and monitoring data/metrics

Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Majors in business finance or economics preferred. MBA desirable.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Series 763 & 24 (Must obtain SIE series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date. Must obtain series 24 within one year of start date)
