We are currently representing a regional hospital near Adelaide seeking a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist looking for a broad and rewarding role across obstetrics and gynaecology within a supportive regional service while still being located within easy reach of Adelaide.

This position would suit a clinician who enjoys a combination of hands-on patient care clinical leadership teaching and contributing to service improvement in a well-established hospital setting.

The opportunity
In this role you will provide specialist O&G services across a varied clinical workload including:

• antenatal clinics
• labour ward support
• postnatal inpatient care
• outpatient gynaecology services
• selected gynaecology procedures
• participation in the on-call roster
• neonatal support in line with your training and service capability

You will also play an important role in supervising junior medical staff and students supporting clinical governance activities and contributing to teaching quality improvement and hospital committees.
