Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time – Day Shift

Cedar Park Group is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate opening.

Setting: Primarily outpatient (outpatient experience required). Inpatient coverage on weekends as scheduled.

Schedule/Shift:

• Days 8-hour shifts 5 days/week
• 8:00 AM4:30 PM
• One weekend every other month
• 13-week assignment (extension possible)

As a Speech Language Pathologist you will evaluate diagnose and treat patients with speech language cognitive communication voice and swallowing disorders. This role requires strong clinical judgment experience in acute care and the ability to provide education and support to patients families and staff while contributing to interdisciplinary care and program development.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluations for speech language cognition communication voice and swallowing disorders

• Diagnose speech language cognition communication and swallowing deficits

• Establish and provide individualized treatment programs based on patient needs

• Schedule patients for evaluations and treatments according to clinical needs

• Educate patients families and staff regarding speech language cognition voice and swallowing disorders

• Prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies

• Participate in program development for the speech therapy discipline PM&R department and service line

• Support community programs as needed

Required Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech Pathology

• New York State licensure required

• Clinical certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent required

• Completion of clinical fellowship year required

• Acute care experience required
