ABOUT THE TEAM

Andurils Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) is a division with two missions: 1) build highly capable autonomous drones and 2) build solid rocket motors at scale. We transform products like Ghost Anvil Bolt and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering operations and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials proprietary formulations and high-volume production methodsdelivering safe reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires software engineers & hardware engineers who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfoliofrom autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environment.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Sustainment Engineer to join our team in Atlanta GA.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Help manage product sustainment in a production process with engineering improvements product cost down and sourcing engineering support
• Perform and own design updates of embedded electronics including hardware selection schematic & PCB updates board bring-up validation and system level integration
• Work closely with other electrical mechanical software firmware and test engineers to perform product updates driven by new feature requests and/or component obsolescences
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes DMM etc.) and software debugging tools
• Support sourcing teams with managing long lead and end-of-life components to ensure continuous production.
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new product introductions active deployments and customer operated hardware
• Balance involvement in multiple sustaining projects at various stages to ensure timely and effective results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 8 years of experience designing testing troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems and products
• Demonstrated experience with some of the following: 8- and 32-bit Microcontrollers Linux-based SOCs Ethernet common communication busses (SPI I2C) and power regulation
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers debuggers current-probes and automation of tests
• Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation design tools
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of embedded software development including use of timers interrupts hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira
• Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git Github etc
• Experience with developing for a safety-critical environment
• Experience working on products used in tough environments (automotive aerospace defense etc.)

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
