Job Duties:

• Work as a team to safely achieve profitable job completion
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators bulldozers loaders backhoes and graders
• Perform grading digging trenching and material handling with precision
• Conduct pre- and post-operation safety inspections of equipment
• Read and interpret site plans blueprints and grade stakes
• Maintain equipment through routine maintenance including lubrication and cleaning
• Identify and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
• Adapt to changing site conditions and resolve operational challenges
• Communicate effectively with crew members supervisors and signalers
• Promote a safe and positive work environment

Physical Requirements

• Work in all types of adverse weather
• Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds bending stooping and climbing in and around construction equipment for 8-12 hour shifts

Preferred / Additional Skills

• CDL (Commercial Drivers License)
• Experience with GPS and grade control systems
• Experience in civil construction pipe laying or stormwater work

• Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators bulldozers loaders backhoes and graders
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and job site safety standards
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment in various conditions
• Ability to perform equipment safety inspections before and after use
• Familiarity with equipment controls maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans blueprints and grade stakes
• High attention to detail in grading excavation and material handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing job site conditions
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Valid Drivers License
