Job Summary
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Painter to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street San Francisco CA 94121. Responsibilities
- Install soft flooring systems including LVT VCT and carpet
- Perform subsurface preparation for floors walls and ceilings prior to final finishes
- Perform painting work (brush and roller) at the journeyman level
- Install ceiling systems including acoustic and hardlid ceilings with grid modifications
- Support general project tasks (materials handling site control) up to 25% of total effort
- Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job
- Experience consistent with DavisBacon classification PAIN(Painter)
- Ability to work independently under VA project direction
- English communication skills sufficient for daily coordination and customer interaction
- Completion of VA orientation safety and required training courses
- Background check and VA badge required
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
