Salary: $30-$40/hr. (Depending on experience) Paid OT (time and a half)

Building Controls Technician (service exp. with building control systems req.) Description
Our client a well-established building controls and energy management company is looking to expand their Service Team by adding a new Controls Technician in Jacksonville FL. Majority of their clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical aptitude with proven experience troubleshooting building controls. Important Note: Their customers are fairly concentrated in the Jacksonville area. The most extensive travel will be to Savannah and Thomasville GA or to the Orlando and Tallahassee area.
Building Controls Technician (service exp. with building control systems req.) Responsibilities
Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC lighting etc.)
Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature amps static pressure etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
Travel to client sites (75%) and provide remote diagnostics when possible
Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
Participate in on-call rotation (typically once every fifth week)
Pursue ongoing education and training to expand BAS skills
Building Controls Technician (service exp. with building control systems req.) Qualifications
Experience servicing & troubleshooting building controls required
Strong electrical skills including wiring relays required
Field travel (typically local) required
