genU is looking for experienced Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

What Youll Do

• Support person-centred plans that identify a customers life goals and working to achieve them
• Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation housekeeping showering and toileting and medication administration
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
• Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What Youll Bring

• Certificate III in Individual Support Disability or Higher CHC33021CHC33015CHC43121CHC43115
• Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
• Extensive experience working with challenging behaviours
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
• Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
• Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience

• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry well help guide you through this.)
