Machine Shop Supervisor $150k$170k (Wages) Hemmant

Opportunity: Step into a key leadership role in a 40 year highly stable engineering business. Strong pipeline of blue-chip clients and consistent 910k chargeable hours weekly means real job security and variety.
Youll be in the middle of breakdowns shutdowns and workshop work leading from the front alongside a solid crew. Owners are hands-on decisions are quick and good operators are backed.

Experience: Proven leader in a fast-paced machining environment running lathes and mills (CNC/manual). Able to take control of the floor prioritise on the fly and handle breakdown pressure.
Experience leading teams (10) managing up to 20 machines and driving output. Hands-on respected and willing to jump on the tools when needed.

Benefits: $150k$170k equivalent (paid as wages based on 50hr weeks) ). Car allowance guaranteed tool allowance.
$60/week productivity bonus strong OT ($2/hr) 6-monthly bonus pools and annual pay reviews with clear progression for the right person.

Hours & OT: Contracted 7:00am3:30pm but realistically 6:00am4:00/4:30pm most days (10-hour days).
First 8 hours standard next 3 hours at 1.5x then 2.0x after. Optional half-day Saturdays depending on workload.

Extras: Run the floor across CNC/manual machining (Haas Mazak). Plan jobs allocate work and adjust priorities in real time.
Own quality output and workflow across breakdowns shutdowns and project work. Trusted to lead with support around you.
