Safety Health & Environmental (SHE) Advisor

About the Role:
Were supporting a leading construction and engineering business seeking a motivated SHE Advisor to join their regional team. Operating across projects throughout the Central Region this role offers genuine scope for mentorship progression and a clear development pathway.
Youll act as the main point of contact for safety health and environmental matters across a portfolio of live projects working closely with Project Managers Operational Directors and the wider SHE team to promote best practice and continuously improve standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional SHE advice guidance and coaching to project teams.
- Support the implementation of the companys SHE Management System and policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections audits and engagement sessions.
- Lead and support accident and incident investigations ensuring effective corrective actions.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to promote safe working practices.
- Liaise with clients and supply chain partners to align SHE expectations.
- Compile data and reports to monitor performance and drive improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience within construction manufacturing engineering FM or M&E environments.
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Drive passion and want to develop professionally and personally
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage across all levels.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across regional sites.
